The Original Ventique Avalanche Flush Mount Metal Floor Vent (No Damper) is designed as a floor-integrated air distribution component that aligns with structural flooring systems. The vent combines a flush-mount frame with a patterned metal grille. It provides maximized and consistent airflow without disrupting the floor surface's continuity. It maintains consistent airflow performance.

Flush Mount Design and Floor Integration

The Avalanche Flush Mount Metal Floor Vent features a flush-mount configuration that allows installation at the same level as surrounding flooring materials. A ½-inch frame thickness supports alignment with tile, hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), and carpet installations.

Integration into the flooring system occurs during installation, where flooring materials are placed around the frame. Eliminating both vertical differences in elevation and interruptions to the floor surface creates a more continuous floor surface with less potential to cause people to trip, enabling them to move freely throughout the building’s interior spaces.

Material Composition / Structural Characteristics

Using powder-coated aluminum, the vent is able to withstand corrosive elements; wear from the floor, and all other possible exposures to the environment, thus providing long-lasting durability. Even under normal operating conditions, the vent will not bend, crack, corrode, chip or peel.

Construction/compatibility with Flooring Systems

The versatility of the vent allows it to be used in multiple flooring systems, including:

Performance Placement

The Avalanche vent is placed as a floor venting register, also known as a damper. Being set at floor level gives it the ability to maintain the floor plane and sustain continuous airflow.

This design maintains consistent ventilation system performance throughout the flooring and ensures compatibility. The system is designed for use in both residential and commercial systems.
